This is why we love Vegas in the fall. While everyone is dusting off their down coats up north and shopping for snow boots, we are still enjoying the greatest weather - and we happen to be out of school for a couple weeks so we can really enjoy it. At any time of the day, Carter and Mason have been going outside to ride their bikes, skateboard and Mason loves to push anything he can find - a stroller, a play lawn mower, whatever... On this particular night, most of the kids in our cul-de-sac were outside too. It was a perfect temperature and other parents were out chatting with one another and one neighbor was having dinner in their driveway while their kids played. Our cul-de-sac has 21 kids with 2 on the way spread out between 9homes (one of which is vacant at the moment). There are kids of all ages and mine love to go out and play with eveyone. When Carter was a bit younger, he would get so excited when he would see boys out playing. He didn't know their names but he would often say, "I've got to go out and play with my friends." So here are the kids that make up our little neck of the woods that we enjoy so much.
