After our friends left, we took off to "sal-vegas". When Kamryn was young and our only child, we made it up to Salt Lake about every other month. She must have become confused because she used to use the word "sal-vegas" to describe where we lived and also where her Nana and Pa lived. The term is still thrown around every now and then.
It happened to be Kamryn and Mason's birthday so we thought it would be fun to be in Salt Lake to celebrate with family this year. It was also Chelsey's birthday too - my brother's wife. We celebrated all week. Sunday, my parents had everyone over for dinner and cake & ice cream. Wednesday, my mom and I took the kids to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum. It pales in comparison to the one in Las Vegas. The kids loved it and didn't want to go, until we told them they could have McDonald's for lunch. Friday, all the girls went out to lunch. This was a big treat for Kamryn who loves doing GNO's and for me, cause I think I have the greatest familiy and love spending time with them, especailly the girls!

It was fun to have you here and to get to hang out and spend some time with all of you. Sounds like we should do it more often. P.S. I've been to Nothing Bunt Cake a few times since then:)
